Our boys have finished their half yearly assessments where boys were completing
two studies a night utilising each other, supervisors, and tutors to ensure they were prepared for their exams. They will be receiving results in the next week if you would like to check on them and how they went. I would like to commend the boys for the way they went about study and preparing for the exams, I hope there are some pleasing results across both year groups.
The boys also had a very busy weekend just passed with the trip out to play Kinross in

Rugby Union. Mr MacMaster made mention at mass on the weekend that their
headmaster was very impressed with the boy’s behaviour over the whole day. It was indigenous round, and our boys represented their culture with great pride in the pre-game ceremony. It was a great day for results also with St Greg’s winning 6/8 games for the day.
A big thankyou to our year 10 boys who did the Red Shield Appeal for the Salvation Army the next day! The boys were dropped off around local suburbs and went door knocking to collect money for the appeal which was great active recovery after a big Saturday.

We have been continuing our vertical teams tradition with boys sitting in their teams at dinner and points being tallied from green and red stamps of each boys diary. We have also had a fun couple of nights with mini challenges organised by Miss Burke and Mr Morrissey where points were up for grabs.
Our year 9/10 boys also had a Ping Pong tournament this week to ease the load from study where we saw the self-proclaimed ‘guns’ on table tennis Harrison Quinn and Tyrel Kelly battle it out, with their partners Ben Whyte representing Mud Chooks and Will Stimson representing Mavericks (these two boys were great supporting acts) where Quinny and Tyrel battled rallies out, to the result of Mudchooks taking the win for the night! See gallery below...

Another special congratulations to Archie Nott winning the ISA Cross Country carnival, his commitment to his training is bringing in great results!
Our boys take on Stannies this week in Union before they get to head home for a much deserves long weekends next weekend where they can recharge and come back to finish the term off strong.
