Update 4 - Term 2

Hi all, This update will be mainly an informational update on what is happening this Term. Also, to notify everyone I am back on deck after having surgery to take my appendix out (unfortunately it burst at the end of last term and I was going into septic shock and thankfully had successful emergency surgery). We then had the birth of our third child, a baby girl named Stella Alexis Bullock, which lead to me having 2 weeks of paternity leave at the start of this term. Again I thank Luke Morrissey for picking up the slack and taking care of the boys and you all for your understanding with me not being available.

We are well into Term 2 now and the boys have had plenty happen already, to list some things:

- ISA Union has started and our boys have been performing well with many wins across all ages

- MCS League and soccer has also started and many of our boys are representing the college in either the 15's or 3rd/4th grade

- The boys were lucky enough to go the ANZAC day NRL match between Roosters and Dragons at the SCG

- We finished off our vertical teams OzTag competition with the Mudchooks pulling off an unlikely win!

Some things that you may want to ensure you have in your calendar coming up over the next couple of weeks are:

- Parent Teacher Interviews this Friday and Sunday morning, please check your emails for instructions how to book them in with your boys' teachers

- Family weekend is next weekend where we will be playing Cranbrook at home, all families are invited up to the College where there will be lunch and dinner served along with a cocktail night on Saturday night. This is a great weekend where you get to see your boys while getting to meet some boarding staff and mingling with other parents

- Year 9 have NAPLAN testing this week

- Year 9 and 10 have half yearly exams coming up in week 5! Our boys have already picked up their study routine to ensure they are as prepared as possible. If you could please keep checking in with them to ensure they are on top of their studies, if you have any concerns please don't hesitate to contact me
